Separate caravan field and 'scouting' field for tents in local park, which organizes adventure outings. Nice park, basic camping when with tent.

A lovely location and could be a wonderful campsite but totally spoilt by a lack of maintenance! Grass around pitches was overgrown, and the paving in the hardstandings were in the main covered in weed. Considering the time that it has been closed due to Covid, and staff presumably on furlough, we would have thought they had ample time to get it tidied up! No chemical or grey water disposal that we could find. Toilets and showers although some walk away were immaculate. However their design (a shower cubicle with no dry place to put clothes, with changing rooms a distance away) left much to be desired!
