Description
Situated in idyllic surroundings, Station Park provides activities for all the family. The park boasts attractive gardens, a boating lake, an 18-hole putting green and a one of a kind interactive water feature called Moffatasia, where children can play all day between the splashes and squirts while parents relax and take in the surroundings.
The boating lake is a real favourite - there's a wide variety of boats available, from kayaks and rowing boats to swan pedalos and the famous Fernando the Dragon pedalo.
If you or your youngsters love skateboarding, you'll find a well-maintained half-pipe In nearby Hope Johnstone Park at the northern end of Moffat. Hope Johnstone Park also has a range of safe play equipment for younger children.
You'll find Station Park on the A701 Beattock Road as you head into Moffat from the motorway roundabouts. There is a free car park opposite the park with a traffic-light controlled pedestrian crossing to take you safely across the road.
If you have an electric vehicle, you will be pleqsed to know that there are two electric vehicle charging points in the car park.
