Newbridge Country Park was very clean and well looked after. The team were very welcoming, friendly and helpful with lots of local knowledge. The site was in an great location with 15 hardstanding level pitches at £30 a night. I can not recommend this site enough. It is so peaceful with beautiful scenery and sky line at night. It has everything that you need. The 4 toilets and 3 showers were immaculate. Having the grey water & Elsan point near the pitches was good, so we didn't have far to walk. Our 2 dogs loved running around the large grass dog walking area alongside the river, and they even went for a paddle. The site is only 2 miles from Dumfries Town and 5 mins from major shops.
