We stayed for 2 nights in July. The owners were friendly, gave us information on the local area and were responsive by email. We camped for 2 nights on the lower field. We had shelter and the ground was flat. Toilets were clean and the one shower was always hot, but it lacked pressure. Never had to queue. A 10 min drive into York. Ideal.
