Lovely site. We visited in February and had hard standing. Great location for Hadrian's Wall.

Small site with decent basic facilities. Handy for access to the wall. Good bus service along the main road to access other points on the wall

Great site. Stayed in a tent on the backpackers field which doesn't have car access but there are other tent plots that do. The owners are very friendly. There is a small shop as part of the reception with some basics. The toilets are decent and well maintained although the showers lack anywhere to put clothes.
