Golden Valley Caravan and Camping Park is situated just off the M1, within 10 minutes drive to local towns and shops. Located in the beautiful hamlet of Golden Valley nestling along side the Cromford Canal, set in Amber Valley, the heart of Derbyshire. The park is set within 26 Acres of historic woodland which was once a thriving industry for coal, iron foundries and canal workers on the Cromford Canal. There is plenty of room on our campsite so you can have the perfect spot to pitch your tent and for kids to play games or throw a frisbee. This secluded woodland hide away contains 24 hard standing super pitches for motor homes & caravans, each having its own independent water supply, electric hook up point and mains drainage set. Additionally we have 60 hard-standing caravan and motor home pitches connecting to electric and located around areas of the woodland.The caravan pitches are all on hardstanding with some that are surrounded by grass. Please note; caravans and motorhomes are not positioned on grass. Grass pitches are for tents, we do not often place caravans on the grass as is weather dependant and the grass can get boggy. Free Wifi (Reception and café area only). Free hot water and showers. Two pot wash rooms with communal freezer for everyones use. Coin operated laundry room. Late stays welcomed, must book and pay at reception. Small camping accessory shop, café and bar.
