Had a very enjoyable stay here in April. Nice friendly staff & good facilities. Great location for moorland walks, geocaching & cycling.

Our second night on the Pennine Way at the beginning of June and we arrived in a heavy rain shower - the lady in reception was so kind, she got us a chair and a cup of tea. Midges around. Great drying room; only two showers. Tent pitches were good.

Nice site modern clean facilities NO buses only National express pre book. Friendly very helpful staff. Laundry washer dryer. Pub 5 km away but dangerous road so take old railway line route to Hadworth idea pennine way small essentials shop on site
