Caravan & Camping Membership necessary (please ask).
Our family run Thornton Hall Farm Country Park is an ideal choice for walking, shopping, sightseeing or just a tranquil place to stay.
We are a Caravan & Camping club certificated site with a larger field for Rallies. Guests are welcome to join us in our irresistible tea room, where we serve a selection of quality teas and coffees as well as freshly prepared hot and cold food.
Owners Chris & Emma also welcome camping guests to their successful visitor attraction where visitors have an opportunity to view all the animals including rare breed cattle, deer, miniature ponies and much more. Entry is free to adult campers (excluding special events).
The Farm Park is open from January to December and has a full calendar of events throughout.
Dogs have to be supervised, well behaved and kept on leads of no more than 2 metres at all times and only walked on the footpaths to and from the site (they are not permitted on the Farm Park).
Please note: As of 26 April 2019, we are no longer able to take bookings for TENTS.
NO twin axle caravans.

Hiking tents ok Staff say as limited facilities do not want to disappoint families. ( no showers at time writing )Cafe on site when kids farm open Lots of rug rats during day

This is only really suitable for hikers ( PW) or self contained units. There are no showers and no kitchen basin. There is water and toilets with plenty hot water for strip wash though. This is part of a Children's farm. Staff really friendly and helpful. The small camp ground is flat and very well keptToilets ARE open all time. Also cafe
