Description
The site is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Nidderdale, being 12 miles from Harrogate and 5 miles from Pateley Bridge on the B6165, close to the River Nidd and next to the Nidderdale Way.
The touring section of Manor House Farm was sympathetically developed some years ago from mature woodland. Mature trees were left wherever possible. The site is terraced with 5-6 touring caravans on each level. Situated just a few miles away from Harrogate in the North Yorkshire countryside, Manor House Farm caravan site is ideally situated. All pitches have electric points and water is close by. There is a main toilet block with showers and laundry room. Showers are free of charge. The pitches are grassed hardstanding in keeping with the surroundings. Many have patio areas.
At the site there are two camping fields. Both are level and a short walk away from the main shower and toilet block. There are some electric points which supply 5 amp electrics sufficient for cold boxes etc. Both camping fields have their own water supply, the larger field having a paved patio area with barbeque and picnic tables. Gas and charcoal barbeques are allowed, but care must be taken not to damage the turf. Cars park alongside the tents. Dogs are allowed by prior arrangement, but must be pegged or on a lead at all times, and not be a nuisance to other campers.
